Outline what your previous positions have been, what your key roles and responsibilities were, and include your accomplishments. Be sure to personalise it too. We want to know the person behind the piece of paper. After all, we’re all about hiring the right person.

  • Large herd experience: Our farms milk approximately 1200 cows through a 60-bale rotary shed so we prefer our people to have large herd experience. We’ll also expect you to have the knowledge and experience in the behind-the-scenes stuff – or a desire to learn data management, report writing and budgets. At the end of the day, we are a large business. Our current systems and processes have been set up with this in mind and we need our people to all work together to achieve our targets.
  • High standards: We’re not afraid to admit we have high standards here at Ata Rangi Pastoral Group and we expect all our people to adhere to them. But you will be rewarded. We have brand new infrastructure, state-of-the-art machinery, modern technology, new housing and competitive salaries. Alongside this we have a strict drug testing policy. We will do pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and random testing for drugs and alcohol, including synthetics, from time-to-time.
